clutch plates were not worn a bit simply [[underlined]]broken[[/underlined]] apart. The bearings were broken right off. I took it to Carl's ([[underlined]]had[[/underlined]]to, as it happened down town) and they just said it [[underlined]]shouldn't[[/underlined]] happen but could or would give no explanation. Ed has taken the old plates to a friend of his who's a mechanic. He said he never gives his clutch any care what-ever. My tires are holding out better than his. He's bought two new ones already and has the same milage that I have.

I'm going to stop. You've been away so long I've about forgotten you anyway. I get mail from Stringham quite regularly - I wont tell you what it is either - so there!

Bon Voyage from some one you used to know.
