The shell of the building is now complete, the floors are being finished and the heating plant installed. Work on the cages will begin by the first of the year. Thanks are due Mr. Harris, District Architect, for much time and thought in connection with the bird house which will be one of the finest now in existence in spite of its moderate cost.
