Dr. J.W. Gidley has spent the past months in work on the fossil deposits of Florida, especially in the vicinity of Melbourne. At intervals during the past years remains of man have been found in such association with bones of extinct animals of the Pleistocene geological period as to lead some specialists to the conclusion that man has enjoyed a much greater antiquity on this continent than previously supposed. Dr. Gidley this winter has secured an arrow point and some other human artifacts associated with the bones of animals that lived during the Ice Age. 

[[underlined]] Financial Statement [[/underlined]] - The Secretary submitted the financial statement requested by resolution of the Board of February 17, remarking that as the resolution was quite broad, many subjects had been treated, but with a table of contents which would enable Regents to turn at once to any subject included:-
