and violent movements have been known to cause flameout so this was an added worry.

After I completely disengaged the auto pilot things became easier. At least I did not have to constantly have to watch it and could devote my time to flying and navigating which was a full time job in itself.

Also during this time I was much relieved by not seeing any condensation trails. I thought they did not have radar contact with me and were not trying for an interception. At least I was hoping that they had no radar contact.

It was during this time that I was feeling fairly good. I was on course, the air craft was working very good with the exception of the auto Pilot and the weather was clear and navigation was fairly easy.
