Dear Mr. Lopez:
Received the returned pictures of AE & me. My intention was that you keep them. I will give them to some one else.
    
It will be nice to have another book on women in aviation. Planck's "Women with Wings" is the only one I have dealing with women aviation en masse. 
    
After some correspondence with Marie-Josèphe de Beauregard (presedent of French women pilots) I have learned how much French women have contrubuted.
   
You have my permission to use these photos also any helpful information from my book, "I Taught Amelia to Fly." 
  
Irv Perch of Morgan Hill California has a Bleriot that he says was built in 1909 and that he purchased from Paul Mantz. I question if it is an original and if so why it is not in your Institution. 
  
I will be happy to purchase a copy of Miss Oake's book when it is available.
