and so, I couldent [[couldn't]] go. I got a hole burnt in my scrap-book this evening, and that made me mad. I was sleepy this evening and went to bed early. Sunday, Jan. 10th 1886. I staid [[stayed]] at home all day today. I pasted some pictures in my scrap-book, and wrote a letter to Ella Newby. Mira and Emma's fellows have come, Edgar Baldwin and Will Beasley, they seem to be having a nice time in the parlor now. I slept with ma tonight.
