What has happened to Helen, have you heard from her lately?  I wish, mother, that you would take up something again which would bring you into contacts: they are blessed things. 

I must call Anna sometime.  I wish she liked music better, I would invite her to a musical; I'll have her to supper perhaps, tho' it is a long way.
