Dear folks,

I received a call from Stoughton last night: Bobby's voice came nervously through. "Hello. This is Bobby. We're coming." and then he hung up. I had sent them a letter to build them up, ("You probably know the way to Cambridge already, but...") & I guess they will have a good time tomorrow = only now I must borrow money to get them lunch.

I've at last rigged a date for Mabel as she wished - tho' I don't know the boy. When Ben tried to get me me to find 4 dates for Dartmouth football players I extracted a law school student for Mabel Sat night too, & [[strikethrough]] Mabel [[strikethrough]] she was gladly surprised. I got 3 flighty girls for him, I hope his fellow is O.K. We are going to Chekow's "Sea Gull" Sat night, which has Louise Rainer, Viennese actress, as star. [[strikethrough]] Other wise [[/strikethrough]] Then I will be through with distractions, save for the Gulls in Stoughton (how long can I delay?) and my tooth. I have planned to work every minute of next week to catch up.
