Dear folks,

About the psychiatrist - I have seen Dr Tisza and will see the doctor, Alice Joseph, today. She is co-author of a book I am reading for [[strikethrough]] a co [[/strikethrough]] social relations, one on the Hopi Indian. She had a job similar to yours at that time (10 yrs ago?), of testing the (Hopi) children; she was doing cultural psychiatry, however. She is reputed to be very pleasant & kind. There will be no financial business anyway, [[strikethrough]] & [[/strikethrough]] she may give tests to discover areas of trouble, she may merely act as a time-to-time consultant.

I should think you were early enough, Mother, on the reservation -- as I have seen it done much later. I met one gal already who is going about the same time, she seemed very nice & worth knowing. Also, we can count somewhat on the other wives & families who are doing the same as we in relation to the
