Dear folks,

I am getting ready to go to a [[image]] dance tonite with some freshmen, nice kids tho' young.

Opening exercises this morning; cap doesn't stay on, it sidles into roguish tilt & falls off, but gown fits well.

Saw my tutor & arranged classes & sessions (once a week, Tue at 3, with him). Courses?

Mon, Wed, Fri at 11 - History (1688 - 1800)
Tue, Thur, Sat at 10 - Social Relations
Tue, Thur, Sat at 11 - Comp Lit 166
Tue, Thur, Sat at 12 - Music 1

The Soc Rel will be - perhaps - "the Individual in Non-literate societies": but I shall audit a few others before settling, & may take a humanities course instead. I did want something in that field, tho, and wish it could have been Child Psych -- but that is in the Spring: Maybe you have some ideas?

I'm awfully sorry to hear about Dal's failure to get her job. I'll write her soon.

The [[image]] dance wasn't - after 100 of us Rad & Har were assembled, we found the paper had made a mistake: so I & another girl went to the International Center, meeting 4 boys, all freshmen,
