Sept 17

Dear folks,

Anna invited me out last night, so I shall go out tonight: I [[strikethrough]] hope you haven [[/strikethrough]] shall be back Saturday. 

I shall need $5 to tide me through the first week of school; I'll pay her $10 for food (it comes to about $8.50, but I add bus fares to Cambridge in mind) and work in Cambridge the days. Shall mow the lawn Sat, I guess. This call of hers was sudden.
