his skill in dealing with all sorts of people and situations, depending on natural sympathy & wit, [[strikethrough]] is a amazing [[/strikethrough]] tact, power of suggestion, is quite amazing. He has [[strikethrough]] had [[/strikethrough]] a large family of all sorts of types to deal with, about which he has told me a great deal. His memory for people is great: he remembers having seen Bill once 2 years ago. I think he has real admiration [[strikethrough]] for [[/strikethrough]] of my wit & knowledge and has somewhat of an [[strikethrough]] Shair [[/strikethrough]] urge to help me to be a social being. It will be interesting to see how far the adjustment can be made how swoon. Don't worry about my work, he is very considerate.

There is another thing you will be worried by -- Dr Lisza & I have just about decided on picking a psychiatrist again: but please understand: she had thought it necessary for some time but did not want to upset you, so waited until I suggested it. I really think it necessary, there has been too much hell inside of me to take care of myself; hell that doesn't just "rest up for the summer". If a good person is around here, I may work some way in Cambridge & live with Grandma, more school would be too much now; but there may be one in D.C. The concomitant social adjustment with Herby could go as here, as he is staying; [[strikethrough]] as a [[/strikethrough]] but everything is uncertain still; so please try to wait until more [[strikethrough]] pla [[/strikethrough]] steady plans are reached before worrying; as there is no cause; half the English department is going to psychiatrists, Herby is even on a waiting list.

Love,
Doris
