April 18

Dear folks,

Tomorrow a state guard gallops and I try to begin a term paper. Work is the only news. The blood-weariness has almost worn off, but it was tiring for two days. I lost your last check sans signature. To Ch of Advent Sunday morn: all music, good. For that reason I'd belong. Chance of Bill & I joining a choir that meets once a week to sing Palestrina; but he hasn't got back from vacation yet. Plan to [[strikethrough]] work [[/strikethrough]] get all my course work done in next 2 weeks to prepare for generals & write 2 term papers after them. Have almost finished History - only about 400 p to go, [[strikethrough]] sort [[/strikethrough]] 300 of which is collateral reading, so faster. Met Duffy this morning. He has [[strikethrough]] taken to [[/strikethrough]] his thesis due Mon, is quite miserable; from no-coffee religiously has taken to the following brew: 2+ instant coffee & 3+ cocoa to the cup; & to dashing to movies he would otherwise never want to see. But he'll go to Europe afterwards with Friends. We'll all (Cards) go to "the Tempest" in a few weeks. Hope you didn't have our cold wet weather (supposed to snow today?) for your trip.

Love,
Doris
