February 28

Dear folks,

It is quite cold again. If this thing is east-coastwise, I wonder how the forsythia fares: it was 15° Sat night.

The Food Fair we shop in (Sat) is the biggest grocery in N.E. (Waltzes Symphonies, cellophaned meats, & lines never more than 2 [[strikethrough]] in [[/strikethrough]] long even at top [[mob?]] (as then, when we were a sea of huge baskets) are the main features of difference. I think it would make an excellent dance hall on sparser crowds. I re-wrote (complete version) my tutorial paper before supper; then we dashed off to Sartie's [[Sartre's]] "No Exit". Well played, poor play, good ideas & [[strikethrough]] good [[/strikethrough]] natural-acting characters: Three miserable people (Lespian [[Lesbian]], nymphomanic [[nymphomaniac]] & coward) in Hell. [[strikethrough]] that Could, as such things are apt to be but a try. [[/strikethrough]] Anyway, interesting. Much better will be the Bach concert next Wed night. Bill corrects you -- there are only a few JENCKS in Baltimore, all closely related. [[strikethrough]] Welsh [[/strikethrough]] Welsh, as you knew. Are Talbot [[features?]] especially Scottish? I am astonished Duffy's people came from Scotland: he is distinctly Irish; looks a bit like Tobin. I run into him from time to time at the square.

Thanks for the ear drop recipe. I am glad your strains are all disappearing.

Love,
Doris
