January 18 Sunday
Fair We stayed home. I still have a cold but it is better than yesterday for I can taste today & couldn't yesterday.  Dad & Mother went down to the river this morning & saw ducks & got me 2 gal of river water/might be slightly brackish for my salt water fish - I have 4 left & 12 sea amemines in other jar.

January 19 Monday
Rainy.  I sent away for a free purse sized bottle of Jergens Lotion (hand) I have gotten 3 bottles before & have 2 almost full bottles lift !!!!! I went to school.
