WEDNESDAY

[[strikethrough]] Fair. [[/strikethrough]] I went to school. Rainy. I lost my red zipper pencil case. +On way home from school. It had a long rip in it I had keys + pencils in it. We had a spelling contest in English, 1st period. There were four left when I went down on intefered. I spelt it inteferred!!! We are not through yet. Marion Horn won it today. I was the last to go down on my side. I did 3 rows of yellow.

THURSDAY

Fair. I went to school.. In 1st period we had assembly practice. I was called out of it to office phone! Mother called saying a woman who had found my purse had called her for mother's no. at the museum was in it. She lived at 2804 Lee Boulevard. I got it on the way home and I will keep my stuff in the red pock marked zipped purse given me by Mabel now [[image: rectangular drawing with circles inside]]

bought 2 lbs. of sugar. It is rationed after day after tomorrow Feb 1st + meat 
Dolores's tonsils  are awfully bad + she needs to have them out, they have made + caused for her boils, aches, etc. sea anemones + tonsilitas. I knitted 4 [rows]of yellows, 2 of brown, 5 of red, + 3 of brown- 14 rows
