Fair. I felt much better. But I still have a cough. Carolyn came over in the afternoon = we played cards. I knitted 28 rows of brown - I ran out of brown wool - used up the first ball of brown Shetland floss (very thin + very dark brown) so I couldn't knit any more. I am more than half done. My alarm clock has always gained 5 minutes per day.

Raining

I sent for 1 free bottle of Jergen's hand lotion!! [[?]] bottle + Mother got me a new ball of brown wool - 29¢. I owe mother about $ 1.58 now. I stayed home from school. I feel a little better but am still in bed, I got my allowance - 15¢ - I have 30 ¢ now in my spending bank.
