MAY 16 SATURDAY

[[strikethrough]] Fair. [[/strikethrough]] I stayed home. Rainy. I worked all [[strikethrough]] day [[/strikethrough]] morning & went over to Dolores's in the afternoon & stayed all afternoon. We both made the floor plan of a colonial (southern) house. I did (in morning & afternoon) a nice copy of my dream house floor plan & complete detail in furniture on a very large scale of my room - 1/2" = 1 ft. I did a smaller drawing of my room (1/4" = 1 ft.) While the floor plan was - 1/8" = 1 ft. I also made a 1/4" plan of the side porch. I did color schemes & furniture too.

MAY 17 SUNDAY

Fair. We went nowhere. In the afternoon I rode all afternoon. I went to Eve's & found she had gone to (Evelyn Jackson) her aunts somewhere on W. Highland St. I couldn't find it & went to wrong house & man asked me in - you bet I didn't go in. I got a flat tire - tack in it. Carolyn is away at Wisconsin. Her brother will fix it tomorrow - it has two tubes.
