FRIDAY

Fair. I worked in morning. I put the salt water fish (from the large aquarium (with freshwater) into the huge aquarium of Eddy's + put freshwater in + stones on bottom + coral + pot with water plants in it. I have 1 eel, 3 sheepshead minnows + 2 mummychugs [[mummichogs]]. In the afternoon I picked 2 3/4 qts.
(3/4 for mother + sold 2) I sold 2 qts + got 40¢. Bobby's mother gave me the 20¢ for the quart (page before - July 2) + I have 60¢ more added to $2.30 = $2.90 now. I finished my green candle drip necklace. it is a little bit shorter

Cloudy. We started early (around 8:30) for [[crossed out]] Wales Bl [[/crossed out]] Wailes Bluff, [[crossed out]] after that St. Mary's City + east Langley's Bluff [[/crossed out]]
We went swimming at Wailes Bluff. I tried to catch sea nettles afterward caught 3 then got stung by one + stopped! Mother got some pretty snail shells + stones. Then we went to Langley's bluff. Mrs. Tippet (who lives there) sold us 3 dozen white leghorn eggs. I cleaned out the car. Then we went to Beal's (hotel like tourist home) + ate fried chicken, nice beets, etc. + apple pie - everything home-grown + very good!! Oh yes - on way we stopped + I got 1 qt. blackberries + mother got 1 qt. After supper we went a couple of miles to Point Lookout. Then we came home + went to bed. Dad found the tail spine of a ray! Rare, unique. (Wailes)
