WEDNESDAY

Fair. In the morning I caught a fish before breakfast & we cooked it & gave it to the cat. After breakfast we walked down to the creek (next to Breezy Point beach) & fished (is about 8' deep and quite wide) & Dad caught 5 fish & I caught 8 (13 in all) - 1 spot & 12 small white perch. Then we walked back & we went in for a short dip (my nose is stuffy but it was very hot today, & water is warm.) Then lunch & in the afternoon I lay around reading, knitting, etc. until late when I had another dip & Dad got home from down beach & we ate etc. I shined off car with a dry rag (except for 3 hub caps) we went to bed.

THURSDAY

Fair. In the morning I stayed home & lay around (my cold is almost gone) while mother & Dad went to Cheseapeake [[Chesapeake]] beach & Randle Cliffs. In the afternoon before lunch we swam & after lunch Dad went down the beach & I finished dusting off the car with a rag (cleaned windows & inside too & hub caps on tires). Then Dad came home, we swam a little & went in, ate, & I caught the cat a spot for supper. (medium) & caught 5 more (medium-large) Then I went in & at 9:00 went to bed. I listened to [[strikethrough]] Rad [[/strikethrough]] "Snooks" at 8:00-8:30 (WRC) & The Aldrich Family" at 8:30-9:00 (WRC). However, both were drowned [[strikethrough]] wit [[/strikethrough]] out by static. The cat isn't so scary now goes out often but not near beach. Had a thundershower in the afternoon before we swam.
