sister may be helping you out in money matters and so we do not know just what to say or do ourselves. We are afraid that you may be finding yourself in some difficulties as regards money if Mrs. Tough is not helping you out. We supposed that she paid the expenses of Jessie's illness when she was in New York though you did not say so. At all events, whether she did or did not, it may be that she is not helping now since she suposes Jessie is all right. Now, Henry, you must tell us frankly if you need help and we will do what we can. You know that we should not want to see you in money difficulties and especially at such a time as this. This is a hurried letter but it must be off for the mail. We both send much love to you and to Jessie.
Affectionately
Atherton
