WHO'S WHO IN THE CAST

ROBERT G. BARTNER (Producer). Broadway credits include Medea starring Fiona Shaw and David Henry Hwang's new adaptation of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Flower Drum Song. He also produced the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Wit,  Edward Albee's The Play About the Baby, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife and Thunder Knocking on the Door. He actively supports the arts in New York and New Haven, where he is on the board of Long Wharf Theater and the International Festival of Arts and Ideas. Thanks to Nicole, Andrew, Jennifer, Peter, Arabella, Michael and Isabella and especially his wife M. Beverly, for their love and support.

HARRIET NEWMAN LEVE (Producer). Broadway: The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Laura Linney; Hedda Gabler; Kat and the Kings; The Diary of Anne Frank; and Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992. Off-Broadway: Stomp, Necessary Targets, Communicating Doors, and Bunny Bunny. Los Angeles productions: The Normal Heart, Family Secrets, The Curse of the Starving Class, Isn't It Romantic and Why We Have a Body. Ms. Leve is on the Board of Directors of New York Stage and Film and is a partner in a new theatre complex of three Off-Broadway theatres. She is also co-producing a large-format motion picture entitled PULSE: A Stomp Odyssey. 

JENNIFER MANOCHERIAN (Producer). Broadway producing credits: 2002 Tony Award Winner Thoroughly Modern Millie, Flower Drum Song, The Crucible, Jane Eyre, The Kentucky Cycle, Sleight of Hand and, as associate producer, Hedda Gabler and Damn Yankees. Off-Broadway: Stomp; If Memory Serves; Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh; the Allan Sherman musical Showing Off; and The Palace of Amateurs. She co-wrote and produced the film Hudson River Blues. She is on the Board of Directors of New York Stage and Film.

KIM POSTER/THEATRE ROYAL HAYMARKET PRODUCTIONS
(Producer). Kim Poster of Stanhope Productions and Arnold Crook and Nigel Everett of Theatre Royal Haymarket Productions have co-produced in the West End: Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession starring Brenda Blethyn; The York Realist, dir. Peter Gill; Wilde's Lady Windermere's Fan starring Vanessa Redgrave and Joely Richardson; The Royal Family starring Judi Dench, dir. Peter Hall; and are currently producing the RSC's production of Ibsen's Brand, starring Ralph Fiennes, dir. Adrian Noble, and Mrs. Warren's Profession starring Twiggy (UK tour). Additionally, Ms. Poster produced among others August Wilson's Jitney (Olivier Award/Best Play); An Inspector Calls dir. Stephen Daldry; Amadeus starring David Suchet, dir. Peter Hall. Fast Track Pictures continues its long-term association with Stanhope in this production. 

PEG MCFEELEY GOLDEN (Associate Producer). Broadway: Thoroughly Modern Millie (six Tony Awards), The Crucible (with Liam Neeson and Laura Linney), Hedda Gabler (with Kate Burton), Jane Eyre the Musical. Off-Broadway: Necessary Targets (Eve Ensler). Peg lives in Weston, MA, with her husband and three children. 

WILLA SHALLIT (Associate Producer). Producer: One Man Band (NY) starring James Lecesne, Vanessa Williams; Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues (NY and 41 countries worldwide); Necessary Targets. Founding Producer: V-Day 1998, featuring Whoopi Goldberg. Internationally distinguished LifeCast artist, notably including LifeCasts of five U.S. Presidents. Subject of Emmy-winning PBS documentary "Willa, Behind the Mask". 

MORTON SWINSKY (Associate Producer) has co-produced more than 25 Broadway productions including Hairspray, La Boheme, Metamorphoses, Noises Off, The Crucible, Elaine Stritch: At Liberty, The Music Man, Chicago (Tony), Annie Get Your Gun (Tony), Guys and Dolls (Tony), King Hedley II, The Who's Tommy, How to Succeed in Business Without Rally Trying. His movie credits include three award-winning films: Dark Days, Boys Don't Cry and You Can Count on Me. Mort is pleased to once again be associated with Ma Rainey since the 1984 production was one of his first co-productions.

JAMES D. STERN (Associate Producer). Broadway: Hairspray; The Producers; The Sound of Music; The Weir; Diary of Anne Frank; Swing!; Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992; Redwood Curtain. Off-Broadway: Stomp, Wild Men!, Bunny Bunny, Communicating Doors Film Producing: Pulse: A Stomp Odyssey. Directing/producing: It's the Rage, Michael Jordan to the Max, in production on The Dynasty. Founder of Endgame Entertainment.

BRIAN BROLLY (Associate Producer) is still enjoying 45 successful years in the entertainment business. As a producer, theatre productions include Cats, The Phantom of The Opera, Song & Dance, Starlight Express, Daisy Pulls It Off, Freudiana, Moscow Stations, Fascinating Aida, The Importance of Being Oscar, Flower Drum Song.

SUSAN DIETZ (Associate Producer) has been producing theatre on both coasts for more than 20 years. She was artistic director of the Pasadena Playhouse and currently runs the Canon Theatre in Beverly Hills. Broadway: Mail, The Lonesome West and Topdog/Underdog. Off-Broadway: The Baby Dance and most recently Lynn Redgrave's The Mandrake Root.

DEBBIE BISNO (Associate Producer). Broadway projects include Flower Drum Song and The Crucible. Debbie served as creative director for James D. Stern Productions and co-produced Steppenwolf Theatre's 25th Anniversary Special hosted by Bill Murray. As founder of Roadworks Productions in Chicago, she produced seven seasons of Midwest and world premieres including Patrick Marber's Dealer's Choice and the L.A. debut of Mike Leigh's Ecstasy. Film: Michael Jordan to the Max and Pulse: A Stomp Odyssey. Ms. Bisno is a graduate of Northwestern.

ALICE CHEBBA WALSH (Associate Producer) is an associate producer of Flower Drum Song starring Lea Salonga. She was an associate producer of King Hedley II starring Brian Stokes Mitchell and Marlene starring Sian Phillips. Other commercial interests include August Wilson's Jitney. Walsh is director of investor relations for Benjamin Mordecai & Associates. An experienced performing arts and public broadcasting executive, she is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, NYU's Wagner School of Public Administration and the Commercial Theatre Institute.

ROBERT COLE (Original Producer.) Producing credits include lead producer of the original Broadway production of Ma Rainey's Black Bottom; Death of a Salesman (2000); Angels in America; The Young Man From Atlanta; The Crucible (2002); Elaine Stritch: At Liberty; Lanford Wilson's Redwood Curtain; Joan Rivers' Sally Marr and Her Escorts; Eric Bogosian's Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll. Film: Tape, starring Uma Thurman, Ethan Hawke, Robert Sean Leonard. Mr. Cole recently formed Johnson Cole Productions with his partner Joyce Johnson.

FREDERICK ZOLLO (Original Producer). With producing partner Nicholas Paleologos, NY productions include The Goat, Private Lives, King Hedley II, The Hairy Ape, Buried Child, The Cryptogram, Angels in America, Oleanna, Marvin's Room, Our Country's Good, Death and the Maiden, Hurlyburly, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, 'night Mother, On Golden Pond, Key Exchange. London: Breaking the Silence, Glengarry Glen Ross, Camille, Les Liaisons Dangerouse, Oleanna and currently Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Films include Mississippi Burning, Quiz Show, The Paper, Ghosts of Mississippi, Naked in New York.
