Foot Ball

The Foot Ball team of 1920 proved itself to be a pleasing one, in spite of so much green material. This raw material will be in excellent form next fall, and we promise to give you a winning team.

Coach S.F. Williams, with the aid of Captain Willie Williams, worked hard with great pleasure to develop this material

The first game of the season was with the mighty Red Devil's of Nowata. It was a hard game from the beginning to the end, because every player put his whole soul in the game.

Because of a decision called by the refere Nowata forfeited the game to B. W. H. S. Score 1-0.
The last game of the season was with Muskogee on Thanksgiving day. it was a game that consisted of brain skill and quick thinking. It fought hard all the way through. Several times both teams neared the others goal and as many times were they stopped.

The game went on this way until the last quarter. The ball was in five yards of B. W. H. S. goal and in her possession, when Pitts the might full back of Tulsa attempted a kick which was blocked by Cope. The ball bounded across B. W. H. S. and was recovered by Muskogee. This gave them the victory. Score, Tulsa 0 Muskogee 7.
