AND THE TEACHERS PLAY BASKET BALL TOO

Basket Ball became popular with the teachers when they journeyed to Muskogee in 1916 to witness a student game and while there acccepted [[accepted]] the challange [[challenge]] of the Muskogee "Pedagogues" and defeated them on their own court. Inspired by the victory the men have put forth an earnest effort to develop a real team. The personnel of the team has changed each year but each change has produced a stronger team.

The most important games this year are the Muskogee game and the game with the Topeka Industrial College. The faculty won from Muskogee (As Tulsa always does,) but they were unable to stop Topeka. Oh, well, our three teams have beaten everything in Oklahoma. Isn't that enough?
