States that the lands of Mrs. Mary Dunn, on Daufaskie Island, S.C. after restoration by the Bureau were seized and are now held for taxes; that tax money has been twice tendered, and refused by the collector. Asks the Com'r's advice as to the manner in which shall regain possession of her property. Refers to Genl. Burnsides, & Senators Sprague & Anthoney. |
