Requests the aid of the Bureau in obtaining for the use of colored school a certain government lot called the "Dungeon Lot". which neither has been nor is now put to any use by the U.S. Authorities. If this cannot be done requests aid in erecting a school building & c a land to be given by T. Buckingham Smith.|

The matter was disapproved by the Com'r. and the property ordered restored.  The purchaser not being satisfied he (Brown) paid him the amount of purchase money $59.95. Requests that it be returned to him.|

Comr. or Supt. of Education state of Florida. States that he is highly qualified for the position he seeks.|
