States that he has visited St Augustine (Old Dungeon lot) and inquired into the school necessities there:  that the Government lot on which the Secy of War, has permitted a school house to be built, is a fine site: and that it will probably never be required for Military purposes. Recommends the construction of suitable buildings thereon at a cost not to exceed $4.500. |
