Sellers Hill were discharged, in his absence, by the Mayor, after the decision of the U.S. Circuit Court Apl 13" 69 That while the fort had no watchmen there several pieces of cut stone were taken away, it's believed by permission of the Mayor. The City watchmen occupying house on the premises refuses to pay rent as do other tenants. Asks instructions as to disposition of the property and as to steps to be taken to secure the rents due. |
