Chae States that she was employed 7 months at $60 per month which amounts to $420. and requests to be paid that amount. With remarks. This case is one of many. there is no provisions for the payment of Teachers thus employed. She says that she kept 28 colored children for an Agent of the Bureau a Lieut whose name she has forgotten at Columbus, Ky. and that she was never paid for her services. Requests if possible to be furnished the name of the officer and to know how the old woman can procure her claim. Can prove her statement by a number of witnesses. |
