Col Johnson hereby applies for such authority. |

Roberts, stating that when the city of Newberne, was captured by U.S. forces in 62.- She leased certain lots with buildings thereon to Dr Colier then Supt. of Freedmen. that she never received any rent for said premises, from the first occupation thereof until 1866.- that one building was torn down, and a larger one erected, which now remains. Requests that an order be issued transferring said building. With recommendation that authority be given for restoration of the property to the applicant, to take effect in June 1869, when the school term expires. |
