Cites at length the good service which he rendered the Bureau as Asst Supt of Education &c &c Is informed that the Com'r gave no orders for discharge of his son, and reports that Col Churr refused to grant transportation to his home for his son which was granted to others.  |

Requests that the Comr authorizes her to expend the remainder of the wages due a poor col'd girl in her employ during 1868 for clothing of which the poor girl is almost entirely destitute and with which her brother neglects to supply her. He being her guardian her wages have heretofore been paid to him and they have been appropriated to his own use and the girl permitted to go in rags. |
