There is no legal authority for the payment of insurance by this Bureau. | Columbia March 18 1869 States that the insurance in name of N.Y Branch F.U. Co. on school house in that city expired on Sept last. Thinking it unsafe to leave the building uninsured he renewed the policy paying $112.50 premium. Col Edie. A.C. holds that the society should pay the insurance. The Society thinks the Bureau should pay it. Hopes he will not be allowed to lose the amount. |
