Dear Sir:--
I have your letter of December 19th, and thank you for the same.
I notice that you will not have a copy of Professor Fenollosa’s “History of the Ukiyo-Ye” until the middle of February. I am wondering if you can get Mr. Vickery to [[strikethrough]]get[[\strikethrough]] let me have one of his unsold copies, shipping the same to me at the above address at once. I would willingly wait until your copies arrive from Japan but for the fact that I want to use this book very much early in January. May I, therefore, trouble you to ask Mr. Vickery to send me a copy as soon as possible? On receipt of name, I will remit promptly.

Yours sincerely,
Charles L Freer
