I learn with regret of the illness and death of Mrs. Cowan's sister, and beg to tender my sympathy.
Your motor trip must have been very enjoyable and a fine change. During my short stay in London last spring, I had a feverish desire practically every day to undertake a journey of the same kind, but I could not find the time to do so. I hope some other year to have an opportunity.
With renewed thanks and kind regards, I remain,

Yours very sincerely,
Charles L Freer

John J. Cowan, Esq.,
#38 West Register Street,
Edinburgh, Scotland.
