Dear Sir:--
I have received from Mr. S. S. Delano, Treasurer, your letter of July 27th, addressed to the American Car & Foundry Company, asking for information concerning the distribution of assets of the Michigan-Peninsular Car Company.

Prior to the sale of the property of the Michigan-Peninsular Car Company, two classes of stockholder - Praferred and Common - existed. If you will be good enough to indicate to me which class of stockholders you are interested in, and will further favor me with the name of the stockholder in whom you are interested and the number of shares held by him in the old company, I will be pleased to give you full information on the subject.

Very truly yours,
Charles L. Freer

Ex Managing Director
M. P. Car Co.
