#33 Ferry Avenue,
Detroit, Michigan,
August 19th, 1904.

My dear Mr. Gookin:--

I am glad to have your favor of the 18th instant, telling me of the change in your plans and of your expected arrival here on Saturday evening next, on the train due via Michigan Central at 8:50 P. M.

I am glad that you have found it convenient to take this train, as it will be more comfortable than either of the other trains.

I have no engagement for Saturday evening, and will be very glad to see you. I shall meet you at the Michigan Central on arrival of the train.

Wishing you a pleasant time in Buffalo, I remain,

Yours very sincerely,
Charles L Freer
