357 90 33 Ferry Avenue E., Detroit, Michigan, February 6, 1908. DEAR MR. NORTH: In behalf of Miss Birnie-Philip, the Executrix of MR. Whistler's will, I am about to arrange with Mr. Hopkins of the Marion Press, to publish an addition of One Thousand (1,000) copies of Whistler's "Ten O'clock". I have advised Miss Birnie-Philip to have some responsible American Firm take charge of the sale of the pamphlet. Would you care to undertake this responsibility-that is, to act as sole agent for distributing the little book, and if so on what terms? Awaiting your reply, together with whatever suggestions you may deem wise, I remain, Very sincerely yours, Charles L Freer MR. ERNEST DRESSEL NORTH, 18 E. Twentieth Street, New York City, N. Y.
