February 8th, 1908.

DEAR WATSON:
Unless some unexpected difficulty prevents, I shall leave here on Monday night next, the tenth instant, via the Wabash, and will be due to arrive at about two o'clock on Tuesday, the eleventh. I shall take luncheon on the train, and if it is on time, I shall go on to New York with the evening train. If, however, the train is too late, I will, if convenient, spend the night with you, and go on to New York early Wednesday morning.

I should like to see little Watson while with you, and you will arrange, I trust, to have me see him either at his home or your house, as you prefer.

If I should be prevented from starting on Monday night, I will wire you, but unless you hear from me, you may expect me as above planned.

With love to all,
Yours ever,
Charles
