GALERIE SANGIORGI,
Palais Borghese,
Rome, Italy.

GENTLEMEN:
Your courteous letter of February eleventh is received. My collecting is confined principally to the Art of the Far Orient, which, along with a few specimens by American Painters, completely covers the field into which I enter.

I have the pleasure of knowing your galleries well, having visited them frequently in years gone by,-in fact, once or twice, with our mutual friend, Mr. Charles Coleman of Capri.

When next in your City, I will be pleased to call, notwithstanding the fact that I doubt if you have anything for sale which I would care to add to my collection.

Yours respectfully,
Charles L Freer
