Dear Mr. Hayashi:-

In giving more thought to the personnel of our central or executive committee, it has occurred to me that it is very important to invite to membership Professor Fairbanks, of the Boston Museum, and request his presence at our forthcoming first meeting of the executive committee. You see, he is the head of the Boston Museum, and although we have already invited Mr. Holker Abbott and Mr. Denman Ross, as Boston members, we should, I think, also include Mr. Fairbanks, thus avoiding any jealousy or misunderstanding. His address is "Prof, Arthur Fairbanks, Director, Fine Arts, Boston Museum." I wish you would send him a letter the same as you sent Messrs. Abbott and Ross and others, obliging,

Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
