Dr. Allen:

for can be obtained, I can then quickly decide whether I deem the collection one which I would be willing to make a special trip to Paris to examine, with a view of purchasing it.

The one hundred and twenty specimens of Korean Ceramics, I judge, are similar to the collection I purchased from you last year. Perhaps you know about those? If so, will you favor me with whatever information you have on the subject?

I am likely to be called to New York to-morrow, and in this event, I shall be absent from home the balance of this week, but some day next week, if convenient to you, I should like to go to Toledo for the special purpose of meeting you, seeing your Korean things and with the view of discussing the dePlancy collection.

Believe me.

Very sincerelyyours,

Charles L Freer
