Dear Montross:-
Your letter of the 16th, inst., came duly, also the cases containing the three Tryons and one Dewing. The packing was well done and the pictures are all in good order. The little "Night" looks well in its new home, and I am sure it is anchored where it belongs.

The price as arranged by Tryon and yourself, is entirely satisfactory and I have pleasure in sending herewith check on New York, payable to your order for $2,400.00.

Kindly receipt and return voucher at your earliest convenience.

Believe me,
Very sincerely yours,
Charles L Freer
