Dear Madam:- Mr. Canfield, as you doubtless know, has given me permission to loan or make other use of, his collection of Whistler's Art. In accordance therewith, I have given consent to a photographer who represents Mr. Chas. A. Caffin and myself, to make a colored photograph of "Rosa Corder". The photo- grapher will call upon you are long with my letter and ask for the privilege of photographing the picture. I wish when he comes, you will permit him to make the photograph. The picture will probably have to be taken down from the wall and put in a good light near some window. Asking your kind cooperation in the matter, I remain, Yours truly, Charles L Freer
