I am very pleased to have your valued note of 18th inst. and to learn that it is your intention to [[?]] [[?]]. This is something I have long been hoping for, and I shall be very happy to see you on Saturday next. Can you not arrange to [[?]] Detroit on the Michigan Central train leaving Chicago about [[?]] that will bring you here in time for dinner Saturday evening, and I want you to spend the night and following day with me.
