May 26th, 1898.

Messrs. Proctor and Company,
5 East 20th Street, New York City.

Gentlemen:-

Referring to the conversation had with Mr. Proctor a few days ago. I find that the height of roof timbers of porch in which the swinging bench will be placed, is exactly nine feet above the floor.

I have looked about my house and cannot find a place to use the Chinese Rug 6' x 12'6". I may, however, find a place in my brother's house for the 10' x 10' rug, but concerning this will have to write you later, as I am leaving to-day for a little outing and will not have time to investigate the matter until I return.

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
