July 30th, 1898.

Dear Sir:-

In your letter of 8th instant you refer to a waiver of demand of notice under which you allowed the indebtedness to run along. I am not able to put my hand on our copy of this and would request you to send me a copy of it. Will you also kindly let me know how Mr. Fortune comes to be regarded as your debtor. The lease appears to be made out to Mr. Albright. Did Mr. Albright ever assign the lease to Mr. Fortune? The matter is quite a new one to us and we would be obliged for any information you can give us regarding it, especially how it happened the indebtedness ran along so many years without any steps being taken to collect it.

Yours truly,
Charles L Freer
