My dear Mr. Morse:

I am back again from New York, and it now looks as if I will be master of my own time for the next two weeks. I am very anxious to make you the visit we have both had in contemplation so long and which unfortunately I was deprived of making on Saturday and Sunday last.

If it will be convenient for you to see me on Sunday next, the 14th inst., I will be very glad indeed to arrange matters so as to arrive Saturday afternoon and leave Sunday night. If you have other plans, do not hesitate to say so and we will then arrange for some other date. I expect to remain in Detroit pretty steadily until October, so that if next Sunday does not suit, I am confident we can find some other date that will be mutually convenient.

With best regards,
Yours very truly
