Dear Sir: -

By request of Mr McCoy, Manager of your New York house, I am shipping direct to your address, two sample frames marked "A" and "B", which I wish duplicated in every respect, excepting one. One of the two frames to be made I wish made slightly larger that its sample original frame.

Mr McCoy advised our writing to you personally, as he felt assured that you would give your personal attention to this order.

The two sample frames will be shipped to your factory within a few days, from my Detroit address, as given above. - The frames will be marked Frame "A", and Frame "B", so that there shall be no confusion.

Frame "A" is a square frame which I wish duplicated in every respect, including size, design and color. The landscape canvas which is to go into the frame "A" that you are to construct, measures 35 1/2" x 35 1/2"

Frame "B" is an upright frame which I wish duplicated in every respect excepting size. The Portrait canvas for which this new Frame [[strikethrough]] "A" [[/strikethrough]] "B" is to be made, measures 30 1/2" x 23 1/4". This measurement, you will note, is slightly larger than the sample frame "B" sent to you,

After the sample frames shall have reached you, kindly give them careful inspection and let me know at what price you will furnish each of the new frames required, and how much time you will be required to do the work.

Very truly yours,
