NARA 575 (Form 24.) Augustus Miller, Pvt Co., K, 114th Reg't U.S.C. Troops was born in Mercer, Ky, was enlisted the 4th day of June, 1864, at Camp Nelson, Ky, by Col. J. D. Sedgwick, and was mustered in the 15th day of June, 1864, at Camp Nelson Ky, by Col. Sedgwick, for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was 19 years old, and 5 feet 3 inches high, black complexion, black eyes, black hair and by occupation a Farmer. He was discharged [[strikethrough]] (or died) [[/strikethrough]] 2d day of Apl, 1867, at Brazos Santiago, Texas. Capt G. N. Phelps was commanding officer, and Henry Magwood first sergeant at time of soldier's Discharge.
