[[photograph of three men, two sitting and one standing. All three men have beards and mustaches and all have broad streaks of dark paint in the center of their foreheads; all are barefoot. The standing man leans against a pillar to the left in the photograph; he gazes directly at the viewer. His mustache and beard are white, his hair is knotted or braided and piled on top of his head. He wears several long strands of beads about his neck, and a dark length of cloth is draped over his right shoulder and around his waist, covering him to mid thigh. There appear to be streaks of ash across the exposed parts of his body. The central figure is largely seen in three quarters view; he is seated in the full lotus position on a dark cloth or animal skin, with his hands loosely touching in front of him. He wears a dhoti that covers him to upper thigh. As with the standing man, his hair is knotted or braided and piled atop his head. His gaze is inward. The third man, on the far right of the photograph is seated cross-legged directly on the ground; he wears a close fitting white cap and what appears to be a long kurta over a lower garment that covers him to his knees. His hands are clasped loosely in front of him, and he has an long object, possibly an umbrella, across his thighs and under his arms. As with the central man, his gaze is inward and he is seen in three quarters view. ]]
